Lilyan Prado Carrillo, MPA is a dynamic speaker, educator, and advocate for first-generation immigrant students. A proud Guatemalan immigrant, Lilyan overcame significant barriers to achieve her educational dreams, earning a full-tuition scholarship to Texas Woman’s University and later a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Texas.

Grounded in real-world experience, Lilyan’s expertise and grassroots engagement highlights her career dedicated to empowering students and families, promoting equitable access to higher education, and inspiring leaders to “reach up and reach back.”
